The best way to size your Rubber Rapture latex clothing is to measure the wearer to obtain their actual size. Circumference measures such as waist, hips and chest should then be reduced to give that second skin effect.

How tight the latex should be is a matter of personal preference. Some people wear it to the same size as standard textile clothing, but many wear it tighter. Most people reduce the size to between 70 and 90 percent of the original measurements. As a general rule of thumb, most women prefer their latex to be about 80% of their actual size, while most men prefer rubber clothing that is about 85% of their size. So, for example, if you have a measure of 100 cm, you would order a latex clothing item with a waist of about 80 cm for a woman or 85 cm for a man. This would give a very snug fit. The whole point is, it depends how you like it. Our size calculator found on each product page can be used to do the maths for you. You can then use the measurements to calculate the cost of your custom latex item.

Reducing the size too much can create a number of problems. The latex clothing can become very uncomfortable, it can be difficult to get on, and the latex could ripe. In particular, the latex seams can fail if they are placed under excessive tension. Do not reduce vertical measures such as torso, crotch depth and arm length.

If it is not possible to measure the intended wearer of the latex clothing, then you can use our size tables to estimate their measurements. All manufacturers seem to use their own interpretation of European size standard EN 13402-3 when it comes to cutting patterns, but our size guide is a good average of high street sizes.

Boob Holes
Several Rubber Rapture designs include breast holes. You can have the breast holes in your custom latex item made to the exact size and position you require. Work out your breast hole size and position by leaning forward so that your breasts hang straight down. Measure around one breast where it joins the chest to get the circumference measure. Measure fro the top of the breast to the top of your shoulder to get the breast drop. Finally, measure the distance between your breasts at your chest for the hole gap. This must be at least one centimetre.
